As a leader, you will have times where everyone wants something from you. It will seem like the questions never end, the requests get bigger and the time required to respond to these needs takes away from your “personal time”. You may say to your self, “I can’t get a break” or “I need some time alone” or “I just want to do what I want to do”. The truth is, the more you are entrusted with leadership duties, the more you will be called on by others to fulfill their needs. There is, however, a way to do this without losing your mind.
I’m hearing all over the news today about Oprah Winfrey possibly running for President. Really? I guess anybody can try this job. Haven’t we learned anything? Isn’t it time to take this job seriously again? It’s no secret that Trump is having a rough go. I mean c’mon. President of the United States, no experience needed, just a desire to do it and money. What other organization can a person run without any experience, better than a qualified person with experience? McDonalds? Nope. Trash Man? Nope …
Everyone has an internal mindset. Some people are positive and some are negative. Some live from a position of fear, while others exist in a state of constant power. A question leaders often ask is, “How do I transform a person or group’s mindset, into one that can be beneficial to the desired result? In other words, how do I motivate and influence others toward an expected end?
So that’s it. I tried it for two weeks and had good results, but decided to go back to a more balanced diet, that includes meat and dairy products. There are however, some lessons I learned along the way.

I am still here. I just finished a summer vacation, followed by some “catch up” time at work. I have also been staying healthy. Working out and eating properly. I’m currently down about 17 lbs. I want to focus on how I “feel” today.
