I did it again. 🤦🏾♂️ I allowed stress to make my heart go a-fib last week. 4th time in my life! It went normal after s couple days rest and relaxation. How many times do I have to learn the same lesson? I have to get rid of my arrhythmia attitude.
So that’s it. I tried it for two weeks and had good results, but decided to go back to a more balanced diet, that includes meat and dairy products. There are however, some lessons I learned along the way.
I have been doing some research on the benefits of going vegan. I have to be honest, it’s not about the animals or the environment, it’s all about my health. So now, I’m trying it. I’d love to do this until Thanksgiving, but I decided to do a two week test and see how I feel. So far, I have had some shocking results. Read on for my thoughts, as I begin week 2.
My health has been on a continuous roller coaster over the past few years, and I’m getting sick of it. Once again, I have a decision to make.
Here’s how I get some of the most refreshing sleep ever.
I’ve been forced to make changes related to removing stress from my life. It got me in trouble today. Can you believe that?
I am still here. I just finished a summer vacation, followed by some “catch up” time at work. I have also been staying healthy. Working out and eating properly. I’m currently down about 17 lbs. I want to focus on how I “feel” today.
I have to be honest. I have been living very well lately. Very clean. It’s almost scary what can happen when you decide to stop destructive behavior and focus on positivity and health. It doesn’t take that long and it’s pretty simple. Here’s what that looks like for me. (No, I’m not the guy in the picture, but I feel how he looks)
Funny how life throws you curve balls. Little unexpected events that make you re-think everything. If you follow this blog, you probably noticed that I haven’t been posting as much content lately. The reason is simple. I’ve been busy doing a personal inventory, as a result of my hospital stay. It has led me to some startling revelations.
So, I have had a crazy past two weeks, which has led to me not writing any original content. Long story short, I went to the emergency room with an irregular heartbeat. They ultimately couldn’t do anything for me. They recommended “shocking” my heart back into rhythm with a defibrillator, you know, the electric shockers they use on people that have just died. I’ll try my best to tell the story. Continue reading “I haven’t been writing because I was in the hospital.”
