So that’s it. I tried it for two weeks and had good results, but decided to go back to a more balanced diet, that includes meat and dairy products. There are however, some lessons I learned along the way.

That’s when we caution people with phrases like, “don’t get a big head” or “that person only wants one thing from you”. Having said that, people should develop within themselves a certain level of spiritual fortitude, where they draw their value from God and not man. A promise is something that elicits a strong emotional response. Your promise enables people to believe in you, only to have their hopes shattered when you fall short. During the sermon on the mount, Jesus reminds us that we should not make promises at all, for any reason. Simply because we have no idea if we will be able to keep them.
